We have a dedicated team of highly skilled polishers who are experts in finishing Cast Iron. Over the years we have offered a wide range of polishing services for all types of metals, however now our polishing skills, machinery and equipment are solely dedicated to Cast Iron and radiators and fireplaces in particular. Various different finishes can be achieved including Antique, Burnished & High Shine.

1. Our BSP Antique polished finish

Our lowest or entry level of polishing. We have developed this finish to give the radiator an industrial/understated finish sometimes refers to a Satin finish. The contrast of the polished surface above the matt black primer undercoat depicts the difference/imperfections in the casting of each radiator. To achieve this subtle polished effect, we use specialist techniques that we have honed over many years. This finish will require a certain amount of maintenance to keep it looking as good as new. You will need to oil the radiator every 3-6 months.

2. Our BSP Burnished polished finish

Our Burnished Polish is the popular choice. It has a smooth glossy lustre, that highlights perfectly the design of any radiator smoothing out more of the casting imperfections than the Antique finish. This finish is exquisite and will make a feature of any radiator in any room. From Grand Period Hallways to the small, perfectly formed lounge this finish can complement any interior. Having your radiators polished make a bold but elegant statement. We can discuss your requirements and come up with the perfect finish for your radiators.With this polished finish, it will require an amount of maintenance, which will involve oiling it every 3-6 months.

3. Our BSP High Shine polished finish

This finish is for those who want a high lustre almost chrome/ mirror like quality to their radiators, most suited to modern and radiators without embossment.

In particular our Essex radiators look superb when polished to a High Shine finish.
