Multicolumn Radiator Respraying

Project Details

Date

6th December 2024

Here at our extensive refurbishing workshops in Basildon Essex, did you know that we can respray your existing radiators! Be it a steel multicolumn radiator, flat panel or double panelled aluminium radiator, we can re paint them giving them a renewed lease of life and a colour that will last.

We have our very own range of House Metallics, House shimmers and use specialist paints such as Farrow and Ball, Little Greene, Paper & Paint Library to name a few . We can also colour match to samples of fabric or wall papers for very specific colours matching interior walls or soft furnishings.

We have been offering this service to a variety of Interior Designers that use us for their bespoke projects within homes, hotels, service and hospitality industries, for some time now.  We also offer this service to home owners who are changing their decor and want to refresh and enhance there existing radiators in their homes without the expense of buying new radiators.

We also receive into our workshops a variety of new radiators from customers who have purchased white radiators from radiator retailers such as B&Q, Best Heating, Wickes etc wanting them re sprayed. We expertly transform them to the colour of their choice and this happens within a very short turnaround.

We do notice that the machining on some of these radiators aren’t perfect and as they mostly come from China and are mass produced. As a result of seeing these radiators and working first hand with them we have now begun to introduce our very own range of Multicolumn and Aluminium radiators which are made in Europe to the highest of standards. The machining and quality is superior  and will give a smoother seamless appearance once re sprayed. If you are looking to purchase new Multicolumn radiators take a look at our range. They can be built to size and painted in a colour of your choice.

As a small company we pride ourselves on our attention to detail and personal service. If you have a project where you would like the existing radiator resprayed or looking for new radiators in a specific colour please get in touch and we can talk through all the options with you.

These Multicolumn radiators were delivered straight to us from Best Heating and we then;

Unwrapped them carefully checking over them for any damage,

Sanding down the surface to prepare for the primer coat,

Spraying on the primer,

Spraying the top coat of the colours chosen ( In this case we used Farrow and Ball Pointing, Farrow and Ball Dimity and Farrow and Ball Lulworth Blue)

We then placed them in our in house drying room to cure and then once fully dry we repackaged them carefully checking over everyone individually. Then we labelled them for our customer so when they go back on site it’ll be easier for the plumber to identify which radiator goes in what room!

These will be delivered personally by our staff in our own transport back to our client ready for installing next week.
