Radiator restoration – WANDSWORTH CIVIC SUITE RESTORATION PROJECT

We have now completed the restoration work for the Civic suite of  Wandsworth Town Hall.We were privileged to have the go ahead to be able to take photos of the restored radiators in situ. The Toilets had Ivory 4 column radiators one of which in the Ladies was against the back drop of a massive mirror very impressive.

The gallery landing with Royal red curtains contrast with the crystal chandellers and the cast iron original radiators that we restored and painted black look amazing.

The actual conference hall with staging had on one side with the big table and chairs the original cast iron raditors we had  restored and painted black they really show a statement.

The other side was decorated beautifully panelling painted a sage green against cream walls.

The tall velvet gold curtains hung just in front of the original cast iron radiators that we painted sage green to blend in and match perfectly.

We really did enjoy this project its great to see an old building such as this in London being redecorated/refurbished to such a high standard and keeping existing features such as the old cast iron radiators which we brought back to their former glory in keeping with this beautiful place.
